Vocabulary Parade

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As you know, we are always trying to find new and innovative ways to engage our mustangs in learning. On March 24th, we will host our first annual McMeen Vocabulary Parade. Each student will be select a word which will become a costume. Put your thinking caps on and get your creative juices flowing! How can you help your child show the word ZIGZAG, DEHYDRATED, EDIBLE, ROYALTY, and so much more! We have included some words for costume consideration and sample costume ideas. You can also “Google Image” or “Pinterest” the phrase Vocabulary Parade and find many ideas for costumes.  Please just write out the vocabulary word and have your child attach the word somewhere to their clothing.

Help us make vocabulary building into a Parade of Words that your child will never forget! If you are able please come early to dismissal on Friday at 3:00 to see a school wide parade on the blacktop!
