❄️ Winter Break ❄️

As a reminder, winter break is Dec. 23, 2024 through Jan. 6, 2025. Our first day back for students is Jan. 7.

‼️ Support Over Break ‼️

We have food bags on the playground today if you need them. They will remain there over the break, we just ask that you help keep our playground clean by closing any boxes you open and picking up any trash you see. If you need anything over break in terms of food, housing, etc. please call 211. There is also a comprehensive list of resources here.

We want to hear from you if you did not attend our Literacy Night. Please complete this quick survey to help us plan future events.

📝 Assessment for Multilingual Learners

Beginning on Jan. 13, Multilingual Learners in grades K-5 will participate in a state assessment to measure their English Language skills. The assessment is called ACCESS and it helps teachers determine the level of language support that a student may need during instruction. See here for the testing schedule and to learn more.

🦷 Free Dental Care on 12/23

On December 23, all our locations will offer FREE dental care to anyone who needs it from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Dental services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis and include anything from simple cleanings to extractions, with more serious problems evaluated on a case-by-case basis. 💬 Saturday English Classes

Are you interested in learning English? We are starting English classes as part of our Saturday School programming in the Spring. Learn more here and sign-up here. If you want your child to attend Saturday School while you attend English classes, please email Assistant Principal Lauren Bartsch at lauren_bartsch@dpsk12.net.
