🤝 Immigration Resources

Please take a moment to review this toolkit, which explains how to create a personalized action plan in case of deportation or prolonged absence (see here for a Spanish version of the toolkit). We will also be hosting Immigration Informational meetings on Saturday, Jan. 25 (flyer here) and Saturday, Feb. 1 at McMeen from 9-11 a.m.

 

🪅 Help Needed for Dia del Niño
PTO is recruiting volunteers to help plan McMeen’s 3rd annual Día del Niño event on April 26. Details and signup at mcmeenpto.org/events. 

 

💡ACCESS Testing

Students who speak a language other than English at home are taking an assessment called ACCESS which measures their English skills. Next week is the last week of testing! 3rd, 4th and 5th grade will be testing, so please make sure your child is on time and ready to test their best!

 

🖤 Virtual Event Feb. 11: Eczema Care In the Black Community

"Black People Like Me" is hosting a free virtual event about eczema care in the Black Community on Feb. 11. They will discuss why the Black community faces higher rates of undiagnosed eczema and how we can work together for better care. Register here.
