Good Afternoon McMeen Families! 

Next Week: Vision, Hearing and Dental Screenings! - March 10th-12th and 13th.

Each year Denver Public Schools provides the opportunity for a free vision, hearing and dental screening for
students in mandated grades (Early Childhood Education, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th).
Screening is considered best practice to identify students who may be at risk for health concerns affecting their
ability to learn.

These free screenings are not an assessment or an evaluation and do not replace professional exams.
Parents/guardians of students whose screening results fall outside the optimal range will be notified by Nurse Miriam.

Please make sure, if your student wears corrective lenses, that they wear their lenses at school, especially for their screenings!
