Donut Dude was at McMeen on Wednesday, Sept. 25 and he could be back on Oct. 1. Make sure your student is present so they don't miss out on the next opportunity for a free donut!

Thursday Folders

Beginning on Oct. 4, McMeen will be sending home Thursday Folders containing important information. Please watch for these folders in your child's backpack!

COGAT Testing

Nominations for COGAT testing close on Oct. 11. You must register your student if you are interested in Magnet Eligibility. See here for more information. If you have any questions, please contact Jenni Cessar at jennifer_cessar@dpsk12.net.

Join our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the education of children at McMeen and fosters relationships among McMeen's students, families, staff, and community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support. Membership is free and open to all McMeen families and staff.

🤚 Volunteers Needed:

- Volunteer at an upcoming event: 9/25 Movie Night or 10/22 Bingo Night. Sign up
- Help plan an event. PTO is looking for volunteers to help plan Read-a-thon and Winter Festival. Sign up
