I hope you are all having a fantastic summer! As we prepare for the 2024-2025 school year, Principal Resident Bartsch, and I are back at work, excitedly putting the final touches on our preparations for the school year. We are thrilled to welcome you back to a newly painted building with vibrant, colorful floors that enhance our learning environment.

Important Information on Class and Teacher Placements

As we approach the upcoming school year, I want to share some important information regarding class and teacher placements. Our dedicated team is committed to providing a high-quality education for every student, which includes carefully considering the best classroom environments for all our children.

Please note that despite what the parent portal may indicate, class teacher assignments will not be finalized until Meet the Teacher Night on August 15th. We invite you to join us on this special evening to learn who your child's teacher will be and to drop off school supplies.

Meet the Teacher Night Details

Date: Thursday, August 15th
Time: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: McMeen Elementary School

We understand that parents may have preferences for their child's teacher or class placement. However, to ensure a fair and balanced approach, we will not be accepting specific teacher requests. Our experienced educators and administrative staff work diligently to create well-rounded classrooms that foster an optimal learning environment for every student.

We hope to see everyone on August 10th for our Back to School Celebration and again on August 15th for Meet the Teacher.  Details can be found on our website.
