Dear McMeen Families,

We have a special Read-a-thon edition of the PTO newsletter today. Thank you to all families and teachers who participated! A few updates and reminders before we announce our top readers and fundraisers.

• If your student participated in Read-a-thon and turned in their tracker, please stop by the PTO table tonight at Literacy Night (4-6pm) to pick-up their participation certificate. If your student was a top reader or fundraiser they can pick up their prize as well. If you can't make it to Literacy Night tonight we'll coordinate with the school to get certificates and prizes to students.
• Winter Festival is coming up Thursday, January 16. We need both donations for the raffle and volunteers for the event. Visit mcmeenpto.org/winter for details.

The McMeen Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) exists for the purpose of supporting the education and well-being of children at McMeen by fostering relationships among the students, families, staff, and community. This mission is accomplished through volunteer support, fundraising efforts, community-building events, and teacher and programmatic support. Membership is free and open to all McMeen families and staff.
