📱 Social Media Safety

As a reminder, social media is not intended for children under 14. At McMeen, we are not monitoring cell phones. If your child has a phone, it is your responsibility to monitor use and protect your child. For details, read McMeen’s social media policy.

🚗 Student Drop Off

We know morning drop off can be frustrating. We are trying to keep everyone safe. All students need to be dropped off in the back of the school on the blacktop. Please do not drop them off in the front of the building unless they are tardy. When using the kiss and go drive lane, please follow the directions of the staff, pull all the way forward, stay in your car, and only let students out on the right side. For more information, see here.

💃 Talent Show Auditions

McMeen's talent show will be March 12th. 2nd-5th graders are invited to audition on Feb. 20 from 3-3:30 p.m. To audition, students must bring their permission slip that has been signed by a parent or guardian. In past years, we've had students sing, dance, juggle, and do magic - feel free to showcase any of those talents or a different one!

🧦 Free Clothing Resource

Clothes to Kids offers FREE clothes to students ages 3-21. Call 720-379-4630 or email appointment@clothestokidsdenver.org to make an appointment.

🤒 Students with Fevers

If you child feels warm (temperature over 100.4 °F or 38 °C), they must stay home for 24 hours after the fever breaks. When they come to school, they are spreading their germs making other students and adults sick.
