🪅 Día del Niño is Tomorrow, April 27th We can't wait to see our community for Dia del Nino tomorrow, April 27th from 12-2 p.m. on the McMeen playground! There will be traditional games, music, activities & more. Food will be available for purchase. We can't wait to see you there!

💜 Thank You to Our Parent Group! We are so grateful to the McMeen Parent Group (the PTO) for organizing Teacher Tuesdays! Every Tuesday, the PTO has been dropping off delicious treats for our staff, and we're all so appreciative. Thank you for brightening our Tuesdays, PTO!
💃 Multicultural Night: May 15th Multicultural Night is coming up on May 15th! Parents often organize activities (for example, a henna station) for students to participate in. If you are interested in organizing an activity, please email Principal Resident Bartsch at lauren_sexauer@dpsk12.net. If you are interested in brining a food dish, stay tuned! We'll have more information soon.
☀️ Neurodiversity Resource Fair This summer, an organization called Guiding Bright Minds is hosting a FREE resource fair for neurodivergent learners and their families. It will be Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Accelerated Schools (2160 S Cook Street). Mark your calendars! For more information, see here. ![]() ![]() |
