📖 April Arabic Events at Denver Public Libraries All are invited to attend FREE Arabic events at Denver Public Libraries! Denver Public Libraries will host Arabic storytime (for ages 0-8) on April 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th. They will host financial coaching in Arabic (for adults and teens) on April 15th, 21st, and 22nd. Learn more about storytime here and financial coaching here.
💛 Perseverance in Action In April, we are celebrating perseverance at McMeen. Perseverance is the ability to keep trying, even when things are hard. You can encourage perseverance at home by teaching your child the phrase "I can't do it yet." Invite them to say "I can't do it yet" instead of "I can't do it." This will remind them that failure is okay, and not permanent! See here for more ideas on how to encourage perseverance. ![]() ![]() |
