26th: NO SCHOOL (Memorial Day)

28th: FINAL Food Market on McMeen Playground

28th: ECE Picnic 9:30-11:30 a.m.

28th: Kinder Picnic 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

29th: 1st Grade Picnic 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

29th: 3rd Grade Picnic 12:30-2 p.m.

29th: Celebrating English 3:30-5 p.m. (More info below) | Volunteer

30th: ECE Continuation 9-10 a.m.

30th: 5th Grade Continuation, Ms. Pugh and Mr. Pimentel's classes 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

30th: 5th Grade Continuation, Ms. Arias and Mr. Mejia's classes 1-2 p.m.

JUNE

3rd: Last Day of School: Half Day for Students (Dismissal at 11:10 a.m.)

📣 NO SCHOOL MONDAY, MAY 26

There is no school Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day. We will see you back at school on Tuesday, May 27. Enjoy the long weekend!

👕 FREE McMeen Clothing Boutique: May 27

On Tuesday, May 27th we will host a clothing boutique offering new or near new summer clothes. Please let us know if you want your child to "shop" with us by adding your child’s name to the permission document.

🥦 Last Call For Food Market: May 28

The last McMeen food market for the school year will be Wednesday, May 28th. Stop by the playground to stock up on food items!

🎉 Celebrating English: May 29

Is your student an English language learner? Please join us for celebrations and updates on May 29 from 3:30-5 p.m. at McMeen. We are also looking for volunteers to help check in families. You can sign up to volunteer here.

📙 Library Books Due Immediately

All library books are due immediately. Please make sure your child returns their library books to their classroom teacher as soon as possible. Thank you!

☀️ Message From Nurse Miriam: Summer Health Clinics

Denver Health’s School-based Health Centers offer FREE medical services to any DPS students and their siblings! The clinic closest to McMeen that will be open this summer is at George Washington Campus (655 S Monaco Pkwy). Call 303-602-8958 to learn summer hours and schedule an appointment. ⏲ Last Day of School: Early Dismissal

The last day of school is Tuesday, June 3rd. It will be half day for students and dismissal will be at 11:10 a.m.
