Hello McMeen Community!

We hope you're having a fantastic summer! As we eagerly anticipate the start of the new school year, we have some exciting news to share with you!

For those of you who were planning to join us for Principal Hinman's Birthday Book Giveaway Celebration on July 30th, we have a slight change of plans. Principal Hinman will be attending an important district-run professional development session, so we've decided to reschedule and reimagine the event.

We are delighted to invite you to Our Back to School Celebration:

Our Back to School Celebration Event
Date: Saturday, August 10th
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: McMeen Elementary School
Address: 1000 S. Holly St

This wonderful event, hosted by the Denver Police Department, will help us kick off the new school year with a bang! Here’s what you can look forward to:

• FREE backpacks generously sponsored by Kroenke Sports
• Fun Mini Track and Field activities
• Opportunities to sign up as a volunteer
• Books, Books, and more Books.

We are also reaching out to those in our community for donations. If you can contribute any of the following, it would be greatly appreciated:

• Tie Shoes
• Sweatpants
• Grocery gift cards
