Registration Information

We know there have been a lot of questions about registration processes. Below is some information to get you started. Registration officially begins on Monday, July 29th. Our office staff also return at this time, so they will be able to answer many of your questions.
 
School Supplies
You can access the school supply lists on our website here. Please note that we ask that you do not label school supplies because they are used for the entire classroom.
 
Registration Information
Please note that our office staff does not return from summer break until Monday, July 29th, so questions regarding registration will be answered at this time. The window for Fall registration is July 29th-late August.

Returning Students - You can complete the Registration Process on the Parent Portal. We recommend registering online because it is convenient and saves time. To register online, sign in to Parent Portal, click on “See All Apps”, then click on “Online Registration” to verify or update your student’s information. Online registration can only be completed by the parent/guardian listed in the primary household of the student record. Learn more here.

New Students - You will need to come in person to register your student. Below are the days and times for in-person registration:

Tuesday, August 6 from 8am-3pm

Wednesday, August 7 from 12pm-7pm

Thursday, August 8 from 8am-3pm

You Benefit! Form
Don’t forget to fill out the You Benefit! form (formerly referred to as the Meals Application). We ask ALL DPS families to please complete the You Benefit! form during registration for the 2024-25 school year. By completing the form, you will help us access all available funds to cover the cost of meals, and other nutritional programs for students.
  • Families who fill out the You Benefit! form may qualify to receive discounted school fees, class materials, bus passes, utilities support and more!
  • All household income information provided through this form is strictly confidential and protected by law. Only one form is required for all children in the household. Immigration, migrant, citizenship or refugee status is not required when completing the form.

August 19th - First Day of School - Remember, school starts at 7:40am

Class Assignments

Our dedicated team is committed to providing a high-quality education for every student, which includes carefully considering the best classroom environments for all our children. Please note that despite what the parent portal may indicate, class teacher assignments will not be finalized until Meet the Teacher Night on August 15th. We invite you to join us on this special evening to learn who your child's teacher will be and to drop off school supplies.
