Weekly McMeen Nurse Message

Good Snowy Day to All McMeen Families!
Today's topic: Nosebleeds 👃
Nosebleeds can be a very common occurrence, especially in children ages 3 years - 10 years.
Nosebleeds can look and feel scary, but more often than not, they are harmless and rarely serious.
Most childhood nosebleeds, aside from injury, are caused by nose-picking, dry air, allergies, or illness (like colds).
As a school nurse, I often see more students with nosebleeds either when it super hot outside, or when it's cold...like today.

I hope everyone has a warm afternoon!
