5) Donation Drive for Migrant Families: May 13-15th hosted by Girls on the Run!

Girls on the Run is an after school program of 3rd-5th graders dedicated to empowering girls and building friendship and community. Every year we do a Community Impact Project, chosen and led by the girls. This season they would like to collect donations for our migrant families here in Denver. They are currently in need of lightly used clothes and diapers. Bins will be set up in the hallway by the main office on May 13-15 to collect these items. We will be accepting donations until the end of the school day on May 15th. Please spread the word. Thank you so much for your help!

6) Rescheduled Art & Music Walk

Due to inclement weather, we moved the date to Saturday, May 18. Thank you to those who have volunteered, we still need you! This is a volunteer driven free community event so those of you who can help on the new date, please sign up here!

8) Teller Elementary's Annual Book Swap!

We are excited to announce Teller’s Book Swap!  Those long days of summer bring time for students to enjoy reading.  What is better than “new to you” books to encourage students to read?  We will welcome donations of gently loved books that we will organize and display in the library.  Every student will be able to choose books to take home and enjoy.

BOOK COLLECTION: MAY 7-MAY 17

Please donate gently used books that are appropriate for students ECE-5th.

Students can donate books in their classrooms or in the library.  You can also donate books in the bins at the school entrances.

BOOK SWAP:  MAY 20-23

Students will visit the library with their classes where they will have a chance to browse and choose books to take home.

We are counting on our wonderful community to make this event a success!  Please start cleaning out those bookshelves!

Please contact Ms. Rosie in the library with any questions bridget_rosenberg@dpsk12.net
