1. Free Teller T-Shirt for Every Student!

The PTA is giving each Teller student a FREE new Teller T-shirt to be reused for special events and pride days at school, just in time for Fun Run!! Please use the link to input your child’s size, otherwise we’ll approximate a size based on availability.

Friendly reminder that this form is DUE tomorrow, February 7th.

2. Spring Session Enrichments!

Spring Session registration opened this past Tuesday at 6am. Over 450 spots have been claimed with many classes filling up entirely! If you haven’t registered and you are interested in doing so, please review the brochure here. Registration closes on February 14th, 2025.

Similarly, if you are interested in a scholarship, complete this form by 5pm on 2/14. If one of your desired classes has sold out and you would like to be placed on the waitlist, please complete the form by 2/14.

3. Tomorrow’s Friday Dance Party!

We’ve reached the 80s! We’ll see if our kids enjoy Devo, Billy Idol, Duran Duran and INXS. 

4. Kids Heart Challenge

The Kids Heart Challenge kicked off this week with Ms. Gomez! Informational flyers will be sent home in this week's Thursday folders!

Students can register here starting today and throughout the month of February. The Kids Heart Challenge aims to teach students about heart health and spread awareness through completing Finn’s Mission.

5. Monthly Specials (Art, Music, and PE) Newsletter:

Here is the January Specials Newsletter! Each month, the specials team will share a short update on what students have been learning and doing in their classes, along with other events related to Physical Education, Music, and Art!

6. BINGO Night on Tuesday 2/11!

Our BINGO Night tickets for Tuesday, February 11th from 5-7pm in the Teller cafeteria are officially sold out! We're thrilled to spend the evening with everyone who pre-registered. Unfortunately, we’re at full capacity for this event, so walk-ups won't be able to join.

A big thank you to the Teller PTA for providing free pizza and to the Teller Pantry Friends for the complimentary drinks! We can’t wait to see everyone who signed up!

7. Spring Class Pictures

Just a reminder that class photos and personality photos will be on February 13th (NEXT WEEK)! Here is the link to order!

We’re still looking one volunteer to help out during the following time:

      • 11:30 am - 2:00 pm

8. 3rd Grade Performance on 2/13: 

Attention 3rd grade families! Our 3rd grade performance will take place on February 13th at 5:00 PM in the auditorium, with doors opening at 4:45 PM. The only entrance will be Door 2, if you enter through any other door, you will be directed to join the line outside. 

Once doors open, students will go to the gym to check in with their teachers, while families can find a seat in the auditorium. The performance will be about 50 mins long. Afterward, families will pick up their students in the gym by checking them out with their classroom teachers.

Thank you for supporting your child’s participation in the performing arts at Teller!

9. Valentine’s Day Parties

Teller’s Valentine’s Day parties will all take place on Thursday, February 13th! Please see below the times for each grade level and reach out to classroom teachers and room parents if you would like to support your student’s class!

    • ECE: 1:30pm - 2:30pm
    • KG: 11:00am - 12:30pm
    • 1st: 12:45pm - 1:45pm
    • 2nd: 1:15pm - 2:15pm
    • 3rd: 1:45pm - 2:30pm
    • 4th: 1:30pm - 2:15pm
    • 5th: 1:15pm - 2:15pm

10. Scooter and Strider Bike Donations Needed for ECE Students

We are reaching out to the community to inquire if anyone has any extra scooters or strider-like bikes they would be willing to donate to Teller for our ECE students, ages 4-5. If you have any you would like to donate, please email cheryl_ruiz@dpsk12.net or drop it off with Ms. Treisi at the front desk.

14. Design a Shirt for Future Fest 

Submit your design, along with your name, age, contact info, and a brief answer to the question, "What does your future career look like?"
Your design must include the words “Future Fest 2025,” be family-friendly, and fit an 11”x11” graphic size.

Bring your artistic vision to life in the Future Fest 2025 T-Shirt Design Contest!
One winner will have their design featured on the 2025 Future Fest T-shirt and take home a $100 gift card. Runners-up will have the opportunity to print their designs through an online event store.

Who: T-shirt contest participants must be 14 years of age or younger
