1. New Security Check in for Parents and Volunteers
There is a new protocol starting after Thanksgiving break. The District has placed a new system to check into the school. An ID will be needed EVERY TIME you check in. This can be a physical ID from any state or country, or individuals can use the MyColorado App. This new system ensures the safety of our students and staff by doing a background check every time someone scans their ID. Please allow another minute or two to check in as there are a few additional steps.

3. School Funding Community Meeting - 12/10, 6:00-7:30
All members of the Teller Community are invited to a School Funding Meeting on Tuesday December 10 from 6:00-7:30 in the Auditorium. We will review the basics of how Teller is funded and how the budget is developed. This training is required for anyone wishing to attend the CSC Budget Meeting in January (tentatively scheduled for January 14, 5-7 pm). This will ensure all participants attending the budget meeting have an even, base level of knowledge so that discussion items can be focused on development of a strong recommendation for school year 2025-2026. The training will be recorded and made available later next week to anyone who wishes to view it. Babysitting will be available for Teller students - please sign up in advance.
4. Winter Clothing Drive led by the Teller Compassion Project:
The Teller Compassion Project Student Leadership Team is sponsoring a winter clothing drive for new to the country families at Teller. We’ve surveyed the families to determine their needs. Please consider donating your new or gently used items so that everyone can stay warm this winter. You can sign up for specific needed items here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/409084DAEA722A3FD0-53451028-clothing#/
