Countdown to this Friday's Fall Festival!

Get ready for our annual Fall Festival—it’s just days away!!! Please take a moment to read this email fully so you're all set for the event!
Join us from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM for an afternoon packed with fun and spooktacular activities for our Teller community! Check out the Fall Festival MAP ahead of time to familiarize yourself with the layout of each activity!
Timeline:
- 4:00pm-6:00pm: Students and families can enjoy our Trunk-or-Treaters, visit the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin to decorate, donate some food for the Teller Pantry, purchase some sushi or pizza, join in the cakewalk, sip some warm apple cider, meet some amazing enrichment providers, or munch on free popcorn!

- At 6:00pm: We will wrap up the stations and kick off our costume contest on the basketball court. We’ll have winners for each grade, from ECE to 5th, along with a family prize! Plus, this year we’re excited to introduce a trunk-or-treat competition, with a trophy for the most-voted trunk!
- At 6:30pm: The Fall Festival ends and clean up starts!
Donations (Pantry, Candy, and Cake Walk!)
There's still time to donate to make this event even more spectacular!
- Candy Donations: We are collecting donations of individually wrapped candy. Donations of Individually wrapped candy can be dropped off to the Main Office now until October 25th.
- Cake Walk: If you would like to bake/buy a cake for this activity- please email treisi_martinez@dpsk12.net
- Teller Pantry Friends is asking the entire school community to again support our vision of mutual aid by bringing a donation with you to the Fall Festival this Friday that will support the annual Thanksgiving Dinner box event. Following are our suggestions based on your child(ren)'s grade level(s):
- ECE-Kindergarten: roasting pan, foil, cooking spray
- 1st-2nd grade: canned yams, marshmallows, brown sugar
- 3rd-5th grade: instant mashed potatoes, salad dressing
For those that may prefer to provide a monetary donation, please visit our donation page for options. There will be tables located near the NW corner of the school (MAP)where items can be dropped off.
A Few Final Reminders:
- This event is alcohol, tobacco, and vape-free.
- Family and guardian supervision is required at all times.
- Please respect the playground equipment; students are not allowed to climb up slides. If this rule is violated, the student will be asked to leave.
- Restrooms and a water station will be available in the gym hallway—please enter through Door 10.
- All afterschool programs, including Enrichment and Discovery Link, will proceed as normally scheduled. However, the staff parking lot will close at 2:45 PM, so families picking up students from these programs must park on the street and walk to the designated door.
In the event of an emergency, Teller staff will be communicating to participants via Teller’s outdoor speaker system instructions. All Teller staff and volunteers who are working the event will be wearing Teller badges, please connect with one of them if you are in need of any help.
