Kiss 'n Go Reminders

Hi Teller Families. We've had a beautiful fall, but with the weather changing, more families will be using our Kiss 'n GO drop-off line on Jackson St. Here are a few reminders so we can keep the line moving quickly and get everyone where they are going:

• Please have your kids ready to get out. This is our #1 issue that slows the line down. We realize not everyone is a morning person, but kids that look as if they just woke up, can't find their belongings, need to put their coat on and take 30-40 seconds to get out really slows that line down. If you are on Jackson St with a few cars ahead of you, please have your kids unbuckle and get their backpacks on. When we open the doors, we love seeing kids come flying out like they were spring-loaded!
• Please only unload kids on the right (sidewalk side). Letting them get out on the left into potential traffic is very dangerous and we have already had a few near-misses this year.
• After dropping off, please don't turn right or left on 11th! This is our #2 slowdown and causes a backup at the END of the line, as we have families crossing 11th on both sides. Please go one more block and then make your turn on 10th.
• Lastly, Kiss 'n Go closes at 7:40 when the bell rings. We will finish up with whoever is in line, but once staff has left and the gate is closed, please do not stop and have your students come in the gate - you need to drive around to Garfield and have them come in the front door, where Ms. Nicole will check them in.
