15. School Lunch Update:
Denver Public Schools will provide breakfast and lunch to all students at no charge for the 2024-2025 school year, regardless of students free or reduced price meal benefit status. Students must bring money or have money in their MySchoolBucks accounts to purchase second entree items. All families are strongly encouraged to complete a meal application for their household as the information determines critical funding for Denver Public Schools. Meal applications can be found here.
16. Volunteering at Teller:
If you would like to volunteer (including chaperoning field trips) at Teller during the 2024-2025 school year, you must complete a FREE background check. As a reminder, a new background check must be completed each school year. This means if you volunteered at Teller last school year, you will need to complete a new background check for this school year.
17. Please Label Your Student's Clothes:
Prior to the start of the school year, we HIGHLY recommend all families to label their student's clothes. Clothes that are lost and end up in the lost and found are donated on a monthly basis, avoid losing them by writing their names on the tags.
18. New Teller Wear!:
Teller's PTA has worked with a local company to create an always open online store for Teller Wear. We now have t-shirts and sweatshirts for both adults and kids! You can get items shipped to the school for $6 or to your home address for the standard USPS weight based fee. Currently orders over $80 will ship for free---this amount is seasonal for them and subject to change. Here is the link: https://team360sports.com/collections/teller-elementary
