ALL THINGS TELLER BLOCK PARTY: PLEASE READ ASAP IN PREPARATION FOR TOMORROW!

09/12/24, 6:09 PM

We’re thrilled to see everyone at our annual Teller Block Party tomorrow, September 13th, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. This exciting family friendly event is completely FREE, so bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a fun-filled evening as we come together to strengthen our community!

To ensure everything is set up perfectly for the event, all families must clear the playground by 12:50pm after picking up their student(s) at dismissal. Additionally, both Garfield and Jackson streets between 11th and 12th will be closed to vehicle traffic starting at 1:40pm to allow adequate time for event setup.

All afterschool programs, including Enrichment and Discovery Link, will proceed as normally scheduled. However, please be aware that Garfield and Jackson Streets, between 11th and 12th, along with the staff parking lot, will be closed starting at 1:40 PM.

As a result, families picking up students from Teller’s afterschool programs after this time will need to park their vehicles in nearby areas and walk to the designated dismissal door.

From 4:00pm-7:30pm, students and families can take part in various interactive activities throughout the school grounds. Here is a list of the various activities and where they are located.

  • Garfield Street: Wrecking Ball, Tiger Belly, and Obstacle Course
  • Jackson Street: Food trucks
  • Parking Lot: Slide, Bungee Run, Axe-throwing
  • Blacktop: Spider Jump, rock wall, Photobooth, and Soccer Dart
