2nd Grade Night of the Notables: March 23rd

We are so excited to be hosting an in-person 2nd grade Night of the Notables this year. In order to ensure a successful show, please help us with the following:

1. Students need to be at school with their recorders (drop in the staff parking lot) by 4:45 p.m. and will gather in the gym to prepare for the performance.

2. Students should wear a costume for their notable character.

3. Parents/guardians can enter the auditorium at 4:45 p.m. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

4. All spectators MUST be in a seat because our students will be in the aisles the entire show.

5. We ask all spectators to stay for the entire show.

6. At the conclusion of our program, families will proceed the gym and cafeteria for their child's notable presentation.

If you have questions about our program, please email jennifer_bartos@dpsk12.org.

Shop the Pantry

The Teller Backpack Friends program was created to help ensure no Teller student faces issue of hunger. The goal of Backpack Friends is to help Teller families feed themselves and their children by providing food and on occasion, personal essentials and home supplies. For 10 years, the program has provided 2 bags of food each Friday to families that have signed up. If your family is experiencing food insecurity, please consider signing up for weekly food bags, Join the Program.

In recent years, Teller Backpack Friends has held open pantry days for families in the program to "shop" the pantry. These usually occur prior to school breaks, to help families have the food needed to keep themselves fed during the extended time away from school. Beginning with our open pantry for Spring Break 2023, we are opening the pantry to all families, not just those within the weekly food bag program. We recognize that everyone experiences hard times now and then. We want you to know that Teller Backpack Friends is here for you!

If you are in need, please come shop the pantry on Friday, March 24th. Anything within the pantry will be available to you. We have created an inventory of items so you can see what is available. This document will be updated as frequently as possible, to help you know what is and isn't in stock at the current time, whenever it is that you are checking.
