Staffing Update: Ms. Patty Is Making A Transition :(

Good Afternoon DM Families!

I wanted to take a moment to update you on a significant staffing change taking place.

 

Tomorrow will be Ms. Patty's last day with us here at Dora Moore. We are so sad to lose her but we are eternally grateful to her work and impact here at Dora Moore. 

Patty has taken a similar secretary position at her family's neighborhood school, Archuleta Elementary, in the far northeast.

Though we will miss her, it is the right decision and opportunity for her family and we fully support her in it! 

When I took over this building two years ago, I brought Patty with me and she has been a rock for the students, families, and staff ever since. It's hard to put into writing how much Patty has done for us behind the scenes and is even harder to find a way to thank her and express our gratitude. We wish her and her son Christian well and we hope she comes back to visit us soon!

 

With this transition, we have a plan! We have hired a new secretary and she will be starting as soon as our HR department gets her fully onboarded.
