Immigration Resources for Families and Community Members
A toolkit with immigration resources for families is available in English and Spanish, and contains information and resources about rights, current DPS policies, training, mental health support, DPS resources and community partner resources. The Safe and Welcoming webpage also contains information from the toolkits such as current DPS policies, resources and an FAQ.
Below are resources that can help families and staff support students during times of uncertainty. Please take some time to review them.

Ensure Your Student's Emergency Contacts Are Up-To-Date!
Families can now update students’ emergency contact information as needed throughout the school year and provide alternative contacts if no parent or guardian is available. To make these updates, families will use this step-by-step guide (also available in Spanish) to add, remove or modify emergency contact updates for students in Infinite Campus.
Let's Plan a WINTER CARNIVAL!!!
The Dora Moore PTSA is hoping to organize a fun WINTER CARNIVAL at Dora Moore on Thursday, February 20th and we will need a minimum of 30 adult volunteers to be able make it happen! If you are available, please SIGN UP HERE for a one-hour shift as a volunteer OR to donate food and/or beverages! After signing up, a PTSA member will reach out to you with more information regarding planning, purchasing, etc. Unfortunately, if we are unable to secure the minimum number of volunteers, we will reschedule or wait until the spring to hold an event, so please sign up soon if you can!!! Thank you so much!
Montessori Academy of Colorado (MAC) Middle School
Check out MAC as a middle school option located in Curtis Park.
As one of the first purpose-based Middle Schools in the country, MAC Middle fosters a rich inward and outward journey for students to develop a greater sense of self and their contribution to the outside world. Our student experience is designed to immerse students in authentic and applicable learning environments with each academic unit centered around students practicing critical thinking, empathy, communication and action in the real world. Through close mentorship and guidance, our students are empowered to lead their own learning by going beyond the classroom to harness the city as a learning lab, connect with the community, access experts, and advocate for themselves.
Students use these experiences to explore their own unique sense of purpose and activate it to
connect meaningfully to the world.
