Halloween Costumes & Parade Details
- October 31st, 3:30pm - 3:50pm: School-wide Halloween Costume Parade; Families and Community members are welcome to line the playground for our short costume parade! Families will enter from Corona Street playground gate only.
- Students that celebrate Halloween by wearing a costume need to wear their costume to school. Below are some guidelines for appropriate costumes allowed at school:
- Normal school rules regarding dress code must be followed regarding revealing clothing
- Nothing that promotes the use of illegal substances or activities or are derogatory, disrespectful or depict violence
- Hats & hoods may be worn as part of costume, but masks that cover a students face will only be allowed during the parade
- ALL costume preparations to be completed at home. (No dressing or applying of make-up or colored hairspray once students arrive at school).
- No weapons (sickles/swords/knives/guns, etc)
- Students wearing inappropriate costumes will need to call home to have a change of clothes brought up to them.
- Families: Please help support an appropriate, distraction-free learning environment for all students by assuring that your student adhere to these guidelines. Students or parents who have questions about the acceptability of their costume should check with their homeroom teacher prior to wearing the costume to school.
