Secure Perimeter Today

Hi Families! It’s a value of ours to update you about important events that take place at school. Today, we were placed under a Secure Perimeter by Denver Public Schools Department of Safety out of an abundance of caution due to a disturbance happening a few blocks away. During a secure perimeter there is nobody in or out of our building but school continues as usual inside. After about 15 minutes, DPD and DPS determined it was safe and the secure perimeter was lifted and we continued with our day as normal. The students and staff did great! Sincerely, Abe and Jillian
