As a reminder, all students will be off for Thanksgiving Break from Monday, November 21st - Friday, November 25th. School will return as normal for all students at 8:50am on Monday, November 28th. Enjoy your time and we hope you connect with friends and family!
MLE DAC Meeting: Thursday, November 16th
Schools and families of multilingual learners are invited to attend the Multilingual Education (MLE) Districtwide Advisory Committee (DAC) meeting on November 16th from 5:00 p.m. to at Wyatt Academy. At this in-person meeting, families and staff will learn more about the resources available to advocate for their students on the topics of DPS Guest Speaker, DPS Strategic Roadmap and Multilingual Education Family Engagement. Middle School Basketball Sign-Up!

Picture Retakes: Friday, December 2nd *Updated Date!*
Retake day is quickly approaching. If we did not see your child on picture day or you would like your child to take a new picture, Dorian Studio will be taking pictures at Dora Moore on Friday, December 2nd. Do not miss out on ordering pictures of your child. Orders may be placed online by searching for your school name at mydorian.com and selecting the green Order button next to your school retake day event. Online orders are available up to 4 days after retake day. If you already ordered and want a new picture taken please be sure to return your original picture packet to the photographer on retake day.
Upcoming Event: Fentanyl Awareness Night for Families and Community
The DPS Substance Use Prevention Program is partnering with East High School, the Opioid Response Network, Harm Reduction Action Center and DanceSafe for a Fentanyl Awareness Night for Families from 5:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The event will feature a panel of experts who will answer questions from attendees about the impacts fentanyl is having on our community and how to educate children about Fentanyl. Additionally, we will have a resource fair for families to gain valuable information from our amazing community partners.
