Before & After School Enrichment Care for November & December

If families would like to sign-up for before and after school for November, please follow the directions below! EACH FAMILY MUST RE-REGISTER FOR November & December.

Before School

  • Opens at 7:00am, transitions at 8:20am to drop-in breakfast.
  • Kindergarten - 8th Grade
    • Due to childcare rules and licensing, ECE is not able to be offered currently.
  • When you register, you commit to a consistent weekly schedule for six weeks (11/7 - 12/16).
  • Capacity: 30 students
  • Cost: $6 per morning session

After School

  • Opens at 4:00pm, closes at 5:30pm
  • Kindergarten - 8th Grade
    • Due to childcare and licensing, ECE is not able to be offered currently.
  • Only adults/guardians on a student's formal IC file will be allowed to sign a student out.
    • Children are signed out from the Corona Street entrance.
  • When you register, you commit to a consistent weekly schedule for six weeks (11/7 - 12/16).
  • Capacity: 30 students
  • Cost: $6 per afternoon session

Registration (for both AM & PM)

  • When you register, you commit to a consistent weekly schedule for six weeks (11/7 - 12/16).
  • Registration commits families to paying for selected days regardless of student attendance. We cannot refund families for missed sessions.
  • Registration must be completed in order for students to attend. Registration will be closed when we reach capacity. Due to staffing, we cannot accept last minute requests.
  • By registering your student, you are acknowledging that you understand our policies, procedures, and expectations and commit to abide by them.

All are welcome at the next CSC Meeting taking place on Wednesday at 5:00pm!

If you feel strongly about the direction of our school and where we should be heading, you will want to attend! We will be discussing: 

  • School Tours and School Choice Marketing Efforts to Retain and Attract Families
  • Enrollment and Budget Updates; Initial Budget Priorities for 2023 Budget
  • Discussion on Small Schools Consolidation work at DPS Board level and potential impacts on our community

Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) on Wednesday!

All are welcome at the next PTSA Meeting taking place on Wednesday at 6:00pm!

The PTSA does an incredible amount for our community on and off stage! They need volunteers time and talents! If you have not been engaged, or reluctant to engage, please consider coming to learn about tangible ways you can help!

The meeting will be the technology lab at Dora Moore. Childcare and pizza provided!

RTD Services Available on Election Day

To help get people out to vote for this year's upcoming election, all RTD services including buses and trains will be available at no cost on Tuesday, Nov. 8. After Oct. 31, Coloradans can register to vote, receive a ballot and vote in person at a Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC) until 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Find the nearest ballot drop box or voting center by visiting GoVoteColorado.gov and by using RTD's trip planner to find the best route to get there.

Picture Retakes: Friday, December 2nd *Updated Date!*

Retake day is quickly approaching. If we did not see your child on picture day or you would like your child to take a new picture, Dorian Studio will be taking pictures at Dora Moore on Friday, December 2nd. Do not miss out on ordering pictures of your child. Orders may be placed online by searching for your school name at mydorian.com and selecting the green Order button next to your school retake day event. Online orders are available up to 4 days after retake day. If you already ordered and want a new picture taken please be sure to return your original picture packet to the photographer on retake day.

Bond and Mill Levy Information 

DPS is NOW accepting applications for the 2020 Bond Oversight Committee! Consisting of community members appointed by the superintendent, this committee monitors and advises the school district in the effective, efficient and appropriate use of general obligation bond funds approved by Denver voters in 2020. The application will be open from Nov. 1, 2022 to Nov. 25, 2022. Interviews and the selection process will take place between Dec. 1st – Dec. 14th.
