Morning Drop-off Procedures for Inclement Weather

Good morning families! What lovely weather!

 

Here are our inclement weather procedures for when it is below 20 degrees or actively raining or snowing:

 

• Students are still able to be in the cafeteria/gym from 8:20 - 8:50. All students enter through Door #13 off of Corona St.

  • K-4 students sit at grade level tables in the cafeteria

  • 5-8 students are in the gym

 

• At 8:50am bell, teachers will remain in their classrooms standing at the threshold to welcome students and monitor hallways. Adults on door duty will open exterior doors to let students in their usual door and make their way up to the classrooms. 

  • The teacher is not going to the playground! K-8th grade adults will not be allowed in the school.

  • ECE Door #2

  • Kinder Door #2

  • 1st Door #12

  • 2nd/3rd/4th Door #7

  • 5th-8th Door #10

 

• Due to licensing, ECE families must accompany their child with them to the ECE classroom to sign them in. ECE families should enter through Door #7.

 

• All students have the option to get breakfast in the classroom at 8:50am - 9:00am
