Good afternoon, Denison Montessori community. We are working with DPS around building conditions related to the heat. At this time, we are planning to be in school all day tomorrow, but will closely monitor temperatures and the forecast to determine if early release heat days will be needed next week.
Please send your children in comfortable clothing with water bottles so they can stay hydrated. Teachers may take classes out to shady spots for relief from the heat. We are also working on a schedule for classes to have a cooling break in the air conditioned library space.

Buenas tardes, comunidad Denison Montessori. Estamos trabajando con DPS en torno a las condiciones del edificio relacionadas con el calor. En este momento, planeamos estar en la escuela todo el día mañana, pero monitorearemos de cerca las temperaturas y el pronóstico para determinar si se necesitarán días de calor de salida temprana la próxima semana.
Envíe a sus hijos con ropa cómoda y botellas de agua para que puedan mantenerse hidratados. Los maestros pueden llevar las clases a lugares con sombra para aliviar el calor. También estamos trabajando en un horario para que las clases tengan un descanso refrescante en el espacio de la biblioteca con aire acondicionado.
