Secure perimeter situation today

Good afternoon, Denison Montessori community.  Denison Montessori prioritizes keeping you informed about events that impact our school and students.

Earlier today, Denison Montessori was placed in a secure perimeter due to activity in the alley west of our campus. The cause of the secure perimeter was never on campus.   Upper Elementary & Primary students were brought inside from recess.  Lower Elementary was at lunch and had indoor recess today. 

The secure perimeter ended approximately 40 minutes later. As you know, our students are our top priority, and we will do everything possible to ensure that they are supported as best as possible. The Denison Montessori ROSE Response Team has been and will continue to be available to meet with students.

Please contact the main office if you feel your student could benefit from additional resources following today's event.
