Good evening, Denison Montessori community. I hope everyone enjoyed the long Memorial Day weekend. As the time left in our school year shrinks, so does the amount of information I have to share with you. That means the Denison Digest is short and sweet. Have a good week and enjoy the time remaining in our school year!

Announcements

Friday was the last day for students to be considered for the end of year attendance celebration. Students who met the goal of 93% attendance for the year will be honored Thursday morning in the outdoor classroom. A paper notice will be sent home with your child Tuesday if your child has met the goal of 93% attendance for the year.
Denison Montessori families, all DPS schools will use the ThrillShare app for school to parent communication starting in the 2025-2026 school year. This means that we will no longer be using ReachWell next year. Please check our website, Facebook, and Instagram accounts over the summer for information on how to join our Thrillshare account. Information will also be available at registration in August.
Be sure to mark your calendars for in-person registration in early August. Primary (ECE3, ECE4, and Kindergarten) families can register their children and siblings on August 6th. 1st - 6th grade registration will take place on August 7th. Registration will take place in the Dr. Martha Urioste Library, so please plan to enter the building at the doors by the Primary playground. For students moving to new classrooms (1st and 4th grade) and students new to Denison, homeroom teacher assignments will be available at registration.

Reminders

Families, please note that dismissal on the last day, June 3rd, is scheduled for 12:00. It’s really important to mark your calendars and plan to pick your students up on time this date, as all school staff have a lot to complete after dismissal before starting summer vacation. We appreciate your support in picking your child up on time this day and every day. Thank you!
