Good evening, Denison Montessori community. Thank you to Families of Denison Montessori and all of the volunteers who made the Harvest Festival so fun over the weekend. It was wonderful to see everyone at this community event! Now that fall is in full swing, there are lots of ways to get involved here at Denison, so please keep reading for all the details! Denison Montessori will hold our first spirit week of the year from October 28th - November 1. Students and staff may choose to participate with the themes our 6th grade students have selected for the week:
- Monday, October 28: Hat/Wacky Hair day - keep a hat on all day or come with wacky hair
- Tuesday, October 29: Sport/Hobby day - represent your favorite team or hobby
- Wednesday, October 30: Super Hero day - come as your favorite superhero
- Thursday, October 31: Pajama day - no costumes, please
- Friday, November 1st: Decades day - show everyone your favorite decade
Deadline extended! Please remember to check out Denison’s spirit wear store to buy new Denison Montessori gear. You can visit this website to order from BSN Team Sports and your order will be shipped directly to you! This shop serves as a fundraising opportunity, so 10% of all sales will come back to the school. If you have any questions, please contact BSN Team Sports at myteamshop@bsnsports.com or 800-749-3813. Be sure to complete your order by the new deadline, November 11th. We appreciate your support!
Denison Montessori will be holding our annual Fall Feast on Wednesday, November 13th. Family members are invited to come to school to eat a traditional turkey dinner (vegetarian option will be available) with their child. All guests must buy a ticket in advance. Adult tickets cost $7 and tickets for children who are not Denison students cost $6. Please watch for information about the start date for ticket sales. Cash or check will be the only forms of payment accepted for this event. We hope to see you there!
If your family is interested in participating in Denison’s Winter Wonderland program, please reach out by November 5th to Kendra Dozsak at kendra_dozsak@dpsk12.net to discuss the program and how Denison Montessori can support your child this winter.
Registration for Winter after school enrichment classes is now open! Please see this document for all the information on the classes being offered and registering your child. Please contact enrichment_extendedlearning@dpsk12.org with any questions.
