Good evening, Denison Montessori community. Can you believe we’re already entering the last week of January? Our students are continuing to learn and grow and are always excited to show me something new when I see them working in their classrooms. I hope to see many of you at the first Coffee with the Principal this Friday, January 31, at 8:30 am. If you can’t make it, we will share notes from the conversation with families to keep everyone in the loop.

We have hired a long term sub to teach music to our students for the remainder of the semester! Ms. Doris Lewis is a native Texan who relocated to Denver in 2019. She has previously taught grades 2nd-4th in Texas, Florida, and Colorado (DPS -2nd grade). Ms. Lewis is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Marketing and The University of South Florida with an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. She has held the title of Teacher, Instructional Coach, Assistant Principal, and Curriculum Specialist. Ms. Lewis is excited to join the Denison Montessori School's staff as our Music Teacher and we are thrilled to have her!
Registration for late winter/spring after school enrichment courses is now open. Please check out this link, with information available in English and Spanish, on how to sign up. Buenas noches, comunidad Montessori de Denison. ¿Pueden creer que ya estamos entrando en la última semana de enero? ¡Hemos contratado a una suplente a largo plazo para enseñar música a nuestros estudiantes durante el resto del semestre! La Sra. Doris Lewis es una nativa de Texas que se mudó a Denver en 2019. Anteriormente, enseñó los grados 2.º a 4.º en Texas, Florida y Colorado (DPS -2.º grado). La Sra. Lewis se graduó de la Universidad Texas A&M con una licenciatura en Administración de Empresas. en Marketing y la Universidad del Sur de Florida con una Maestría en Educación en Liderazgo Educativo. Ha tenido el título de Maestra, Coach Educativa, Subdirectora y Especialista en Currículo. La Sra. Lewis está emocionada de unirse al personal de la Escuela Montessori Denison como nuestra Maestra de Música y estamos encantados de tenerla.
La inscripción para los cursos de enriquecimiento extracurricular de fines de invierno/primavera ya está abierta.
