Good evening, Denison Montessori community! I hope you enjoyed last week’s Cinco de Mayo Fiesta as much as I did. It was incredible to see our community back together to celebrate. Our children had a wonderful time as did the staff and families. We would like to thank Mrs. Alice and all of our incredible volunteers who worked so hard to make this first community event in over two years a huge success! We would also like to thank you for all the love that was shown to our staff members last week. We truly appreciate the notes, flowers, treats, plants, and coffee shared with us. Thank you for being part of our community!

Announcements

Early bird online registration for the 2022-2023 school year will open on Monday, May 2nd, through Parent Portal. Please watch for communication from DPS with more information.
The DPS Transportation Opt-In Program for the 2022-23 school year continues through June 30. Families will need to log into the Parent Portal and opt in if they require DPS transportation services for their student for the 2022-2023 school year. If families do not opt-in by June 30, DPS will plan bus routes without their students. This doesn’t change their student’s eligibility, but it could cause a delay in service. Street sweeping season is here! Please pay attention to the signs posted by the city of Denver about street sweeping as they will issue tickets starting at 8:00 a.m.
The final round of DPS’s “Your Voice/Tu Voz” surveys for this school year is now available. All surveys will include additional questions to support the Healthy Start Times initiative for the 2023-24 school year. Families should have receive the survey link to the primary email they have entered in Parent Portal last Monday, May 2.

La inscripción anticipada en línea para el año escolar 2022-2023 se abrirá el lunes 2 de mayo a través del Portal para padres. Esté atento a la comunicación de DPS con más información.
El Programa de Opción de Inclusión de Transporte de DPS para el año escolar 2022-23 continúa hasta el 30 de junio. Las familias deberán iniciar sesión en el Portal de Padres y optar si necesitan servicios de transporte de DPS para su estudiante para el año escolar 2022-2023. Si las familias no optan por participar antes del 30 de junio, DPS planificará rutas de autobús sin sus estudiantes. Đăng ký sớm trực tuyến cho năm học 2022-2023 sẽ mở vào Thứ Hai, ngày 2 tháng Năm, thông qua Cổng thông tin Phụ huynh. Vui lòng theo dõi liên lạc từ DPS để cung cấp thêm thông tin.
Chương trình Chọn Tham gia Vận chuyển DPS cho năm học 2022-23 tiếp tục đến hết ngày 30 tháng 6. Các gia đình sẽ cần đăng nhập vào Cổng thông tin Phụ huynh và chọn tham gia nếu họ yêu cầu dịch vụ chuyên chở DPS cho học sinh của họ trong năm học 2022-2023. Nếu các gia đình không chọn tham gia trước ngày 30 tháng Sáu, DPS sẽ lập kế hoạch các tuyến xe buýt mà không có học sinh của họ.
