School Community Engagement Session – with FACE and Periscope Theory

03/11/24, 3:01 PM

The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) department is partnering with Periscope Theory to deep dive into what community engagement means to the DPS community. With this information we can better partner with you, our families, and schools, to support your needs!

We are hosting 3 opportunities starting this week.

1. March 13th from 5:15-6:30 pm at the Eloise May Library 1471 S Parker Rd Denver, CO 80231
2. March 16th from 9-10:30 am at Lincoln High School (Rooms 116 and 117) 2285 S Federal Blvd Denver, CO 80219
3. April 10th Via Zoom - link provided upon registration (register using the flyer below!)

Why should your families join us?

By joining our School Community Engagement Session, you will:

- Discuss the power and process of community voice broadly as opposed to diving into specific issues at this time.

- Gain a deeper understanding of the importance of community engagement. Connect with fellow parents and community members who share your passion for education.

- Lend your voice to help improve and identify expectations of community involvement.

- Help form meaningful and impactful relationships as a school family and community.
