Dear Families,

Join us for Literacy Night is tonight from 5:00-6:30. Students will have a chance to make bracelets, build a rockship, win prizes, try out virtual reality headsets, and much more! The event is for Barney Ford students only and all students need to be accompanied by an adult. 

 

Thursday, May 22: Black Family Engagement Event

Next Thursday is our final Black Family Engagegment event. We will meet on Google Meet from 5:30-6:30. We will celebate highlights from the year and discuss ways we can serve our families better next year. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

Friday, May 23: Field Day

Field Day is one of our favorite days of the year! Join us next Friday for the fun! Be sure your child is prepared to be outside with a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and a smile! All visitors need to check in at the office before heading to the field. Here’s the schedule:

• 9:20-11:30 (ECE-2nd grade)

• 12:30-2:30 (3rd-5th grade)

 

Free Ticket to the Colorado Rapids

The Colorado Rapids is offering our community one free ticket to the Saturday, May 17th match between the Colorado Rapids and Real Salt Lake. A portion of each ticket purchased is donated to Special Olympics of Colorado and there is a post-game match between the Rapids v Salt Lake Unified.

Attendance Update

Last week’s attendance rate was 89.8%. Third and fifth tied for the highest attendance last week at 92%. Please help us finish the year strong by showing up on time, ready to learn each day.
