Dear Families,

February is going by so quickly! We hope to see you for tonight's pizza dinner and celebration!

Tonight! Multicultural Family Night

Our next Family Fun Night is tonight from 5:30-7:00! Join us for a pizza dinner, African drumming, and Polynesian Dance. We hope to see you at this Black History Month and Pacific Islander Celebration.

Internet Safety Issue at Home

We are noticing an uptick in inappropriate use of technology at home including cyberbullying and sending inappropriate photos. It is important to check what your children are doing online and limit access to apps such as SnapChat. Click here to learn more about how to manage technology at home.

Keep the Kiss and Go Lane Flowing

In the mornings we have a Kiss and Go lane in front of the school to make dropping off your students quick, safe, and easy. Please do not park in front of the school because it blocks this lane. We are working hard to keep drop-off and pick-up safe. Thanks for doing your part as well.

We are collecting donations to support our families New to Country. Please bring the following items to our front office before March 1st. Thanks for your help in welcoming our new community members!

Summer Connections is a free, five-week academic program that is open to all rising first through fifth-grade Barney Ford Students from June 17-July 19 (no classes will take place June 19 or July 4-5). This full-day program focuses on preparing elementary students for future success.

6th Annual Denver Family Fest!

Saturday, February 24th from 12-6 pm at the Colorado Convention Center

The event will include free activities, family-type vendors, learning about STEM careers, competitive robotics, and more, including pictures with Clifford the big red dog!

Attendance Update

Our attendance rate reached 89.5% last week. 4th grade had the best attendance at 93.2%. Please help us reach our attendance goals by attending school every day!
