Multicultural Family Night: Thursday 2/22

Our next Family Fun Night is Thursday, February 22. Join us for a pizza dinner, African drumming, and Polynesian Dance. We hope to see you at this Black History Month and Pacific Islander Celebration.

Staff Spotlight: Chris Martinez

Chris Martinez is our hardworking and flexible facilities manager. He arrives at Barney Ford every morning at 5:30 to make sure our sidewalks are clear, the building is safe, and ready for learning. Chris was born and raised in Denver.  He’s been with DPS since 2016. He likes the supportive community at Barney Ford and how the staff pitches in to help. Outside of school, he enjoys driving through the mountains with his Spotify playlist cranked up.

Attendance Update

Our attendance rate reached 88.9% last week, short of our 95% goal. 4th grade had the best attendance at 92.7%. We want all our students to be Attendneace Heros!
