Dear Families,

 

We are getting so close to winter break! Tomorrow second graders have a field trip to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Our 5th graders have their minds set on middle school and will be visiting Rocky Mountain Prep to get a taste of 6th grade.

 

Next week is Spirit Week!

Thursday, December 14 is an early-release day. Students will go home at 1:00. Lunch will be served and Discovery Link will be open from 1:00-6:00. Please contact LJ Ollison if you need help signing up.

 

There is no school next Friday, December 15. It is the start of winter break and students return to school on Wednesday, January 3rd.

Day Camp on December 14th & 15th.

Students will go home at 1:00 on Thursday, December 14th and there is no school on Friday, December 15th. Discovery Link is providing care on both days at Barney Ford. Registration is required and we are offering two evening events to help families sign up, December 5 and December 12.

Attendance Update

Last week our attendance hit a low point of  86.7%. As we get closer to winter break students need to be at school each day. There is an increase in colds going around. Please encourage your children to wash their hands regularly, drink plenty of water, and get at least 8 hours of sleep each night.

 

Kindergarten had the best attendance last week at 89.8%!
