Dear Families,
Students and staff members are settling into the routines of school, friendships, and learning again. We continue to norm around the dress code and other school-wide routines that help create a safe and welcoming environment for all of our students. Thank you for your continued support in sending students in uniform, rested, and prepared for learning.
There is no school on Monday, Sept 4 due to Labor Day. We hope you enjoy the long weekend.
Emergency Drill Practice
The safety of your child as well as the safety of the school staff is very important to us. In order to maintain a safe environment for our children to study and learn, it is necessary to practice our emergency and crisis response plans by having drills. Today we practiced the fire drill, lockdown drill, and shelter-in-place drill. By practicing these drills in a developmentally appropriate manner, we prepare our children to respond appropriately during an actual emergency.
Enrichment Sign Up Next Week
Next week you can sign up your students for FREE afterschool enrichment activities including basketball, soccer, violin, choir, and book clubs. Sign up on September 5, 6, and 6th.

Attendance Update
Our school attendance goal is 95% every day. Last week our attendance rate was 94.5%. Congratulations to the kindergarten classes. They had the best attendance, almost 97%!
Every day of learning matters. Please be sure your child is at school every day.
Upcoming Events
- Friday, Sept 1, 7:45-8:45: 1st Friday Coffee and Conversation in the library.
- Monday, Sept. 4: No School on Labor Day
- Wednesday, Sept. 6, 6:30-7:30 pm: Get help signing up for Discovery Link and Enrichments. Mr. Ollison will be in the cafeteria to help you register.
