It’s that time of year again!!! 🍂 Autumn is just around the corner, and it's time to enjoy the end of the gardening season and start preparations for the spring! 🌸

Garden Club is for 4th and 5th graders. 🌱

The fee for the entire school year is $80.00. 💵

Please print off the student information sheet and include it with your fee. The form and fee can be given to either office or Mr. Settje.

Volunteer Orientation Announcement

 Date: August 20th
 Time: 8:00 AM
 Location: K-3 Campus

We are excited to announce our first volunteer orientation on August 20th at 8:00 AM at the K-3 campus.

Afterward, orientations will be held weekly every Tuesday morning at the same time and location.

For those who prefer evening sessions, we will offer training once a month during our elementary OPT meetings.

 Volunteering Start Date: September 3rd
 Lunch-Time Visitation Start Date: August 19th

📸 Reminder: Secondary Picture Make-Up Day – August 21st

For those who missed the original picture day or need retakes, the secondary picture make-up day is scheduled for August 21st.

🔔 Important Reminder: Zipper Binder with Chromebook Holder 🔔

This year, a new item on the school supply list is a zipper binder with a Chromebook holder. 🎒

We've noticed that many students still do not have this important item at school. To ensure our students are fully prepared to learn, it's essential they bring the necessary supplies to class every day.

Why the Zipper Binder?

Provides a safe space for storing their Chromebook and charger 💻🔌

Keeps all school materials organized 📚

Replaces drawstring backpacks and computer bags in classrooms 🚫🎒

We understand that some families have already purchased the binder and are waiting for delivery. If you're having trouble finding or purchasing this item, please reach out to the secondary front office, and we'll be happy to assist you. 🤝


Save the Dates: Homecoming Week Events!

🏈 Peach Fuzz and Powderpuff Games

Date: September 11

Time: 5:15 PM

Location: Secondary Field Complex

Details: Watch senior and junior boys and girls compete in flag football and volleyball as part of our Homecoming week festivities.

🔥 Homecoming Bonfire

Date: September 12

Time: 8:00 PM - 10:00/11:00 PM

Location: High School Parking Lot

Details: Join us for the second annual Homecoming Bonfire, a high school-only event celebrating Homecoming week after the Boys Soccer and Girls Volleyball games. Enjoy music, games, and potentially some tailgate-style food. The bonfire will kick off between 8:00 and 9:00 PM and will go until 10:00 or 11:00 PM.

Frontier Academy partners with District 6 for our nutritional services and serves breakfast and lunch for all students.

Weld Food Back Program

🍎 Weld Food Bank collaborates with school counselors at Frontier Academy to identify students who need food over the weekend.

Volunteers fill the packs with child-friendly food, including shelf-stable milk, juice, a high-protein meal, and three or four snacks.

🚚 Weld Food Bank delivers the packs to schools; children take them home every Thursday.

📝 Please complete the following form if you would like your student to receive a food pack each Thursday.
