Academic Support Reminder
As we move further into the semester, now is a great time to check in on your student’s grades and progress. Regular communication between students, families, and teachers is key to academic success—and it’s never too early to take action if improvement is needed.
Here are a few important reminders to help your student stay on track:
✅ Attend every class regularly.
Consistent attendance is essential for staying engaged and keeping up with classwork.
✅ Come to school prepared.
Make sure your student brings all necessary materials—including their Chromebook and charger—to each class.
✅ Submit assignments on time.
Encourage your student to complete and turn in assignments by their due dates. If any work is missing, help them finish and submit it promptly.
✅ Stay organized at home.
Have your student bring home school materials each night and keep them organized in a binder or Case-it. Remind them to charge Chromebooks overnight so they’re ready for the next school day.
✅ Use CLAW class for extra support.
Encourage your student to meet with teachers during CLAW for extra help or to catch up on work.
Frontier Academy also offers several academic support programs to help students strengthen their skills and improve grades:
📘 Learning Center Support: Academic assistance available during school hours (with teacher approval).
📗 After-School Homework Club: Tutoring and guidance after school.
📙 Lunch Tutoring: Extra help available in the Learning Center during lunch.
📒 CLAW Class Support: Individualized academic support with teachers.
Families can monitor student progress through the Parent Portal in Infinite Campus.
If you need help with your username or password, please contact Mrs. Anderson at (970) 339-9153 ext. 1166.
If you have concerns about your student’s grades, please contact the teacher directly at lastnamefirstinitial@frontieracademy.net (for example, smithj@frontieracademy.net). Email is the best way to reach them.
Thank you for partnering with us to support your student’s success!
