Hello Bulldog Families! We hope that everyone has had a great start to the school year and are feeling settled into their routines and schedules. We want to remind families that your student’s advisor is the first point of contact for any needs or concerns. Our front office team manages both our middle and high school which keeps them really busy during the school day. Reaching out to the advisor will often result in a quicker response and helps our front office to support students and staff in the building. If there is an urgent matter that requires you to call the front desk, please leave a detailed voice message and they will respond as soon as possible. As after-school clubs and home game sporting events begin, more students will be staying after our normal dismissal time. Staff will only be available and on duty 15 minutes after clubs and events end. It is vital that students are picked up on time as doors will be locked after that time and staff will be unavailable. Staff will ensure that students have communicated with their rides and have had access to use the school phone during the 15-minute window. Lastly, please ensure that your student is adhering to the dress code daily. For middle school this includes a Bulldog branded top and for high school this includes tops and bottoms that are touching all the way around (no crop tops or sagging pants) and closed-toed shoes. Students out of the dress code will be asked to correct their violation or call home for bigger issues that cannot be fixed at school. Please see both of our school’s websites for full guidance. Tomorrow begins Hispanic Heritage Month! Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. We look forward to celebrating our diverse community through morning meetings and celebrations this month! Thank you for your continued support!
