Girls Summer Volleyball Training

Good Afternoon Elevate HS Guardians & Families,
We hope that you and your scholar are enjoying summer break. With that being said, Head coach Rob Saavedra & Athletic Director AJ Thompson are hosting a week of open gym/off-season training this summer for our female student-athletes here at Elevate. This program is open to new and returning scholars/athletes with DSST Elevate, the goal of this program is to help scholars prepare for the upcoming Fall sports season, working on basic volleyball skills and conditioning. We will also model what the expectations will be at tryouts for the team this season, which will take place early August! This off-season training program is not mandatory but our head coach made it clear that it will help scholars chances of making the final roster for the season, and is a great way for our team to start building chemistry and developing winning habits together. The training sessions will be open to your scholar Monday-Friday from 10am to noon 12pm. Which we hope provides flexibility for your scholar to make at least one if not all or multiple training sessions during that week. We know that you all might be busy and transportation might be an issue on certain days but we ask that you attempt to get your scholar here at least once or twice so we can start working towards having a winning season this year!

Training Dates: July 24th-28th (Everyday)
Time: 10:00-12:00
Location: DSST Elevate Gymnasium
What to bring: Court shoes, Water bottle, short spandex or leggings, no wrist jewelry
Tryouts: August 10th & 11th (more info coming soon)
