Director's Note

Hello Bulldog Families,

Welcome back from Spring Break! We hope that you and your students were able to engage in something fun and/or relaxing. As we get back into the routine of trimester 3, we want to acknowledge and thank all of our families who completed our recent family survey. We truly appreciate your feedback and look forward to digging into the data we received. We will be responding in the next few weeks!

Both our middle school and high school students will be engaging in very important testing next week. Our middle school students will be taking CMAS and high school students will be taking their College Board PSAT tests. Your student’s attendance next week will be critical as their participation in these tests helps us to measure their overall levels of success this year and impacts our school’s overall school performance ranking. We ask that you ensure that your student is present and on time unless it is an emergency. In this case, we ask that you reach out to our front office team as soon as possible.

We also want to acknowledge Autism Awareness Month. Each year during the month of April, individuals and organizations across the globe celebrate Autism Awareness Month with events to educate local communities and raise public awareness about autism. Almost 50 years have passed since the Autism Society held the first National Autism Awareness Month in April of 1970. We appreciate and value the uniqueness of all of our Elevate students and hope that we can continue to educate and learn from one another EVERY month.

Hola familias de Bulldogs,

¡Bienvenidos de regreso de las vacaciones de primavera! Esperamos que usted y sus estudiantes hayan podido participar en algo divertido y/o relajante. A medida que volvemos a la rutina del tercer trimestre, queremos reconocer y agradecer a todas nuestras familias que completaron nuestra encuesta familiar reciente. Realmente apreciamos sus comentarios y esperamos profundizar en los datos que recibimos. ¡Estaremos respondiendo en las próximas semanas!

Nuestros estudiantes de secundaria y preparatoria participarán en pruebas muy importantes la próxima semana. Nuestros estudiantes de secundaria tomarán CMAS y los estudiantes de preparatoria tomarán sus exámenes PSAT de College Board. La asistencia de su estudiante la próxima semana será fundamental ya que su participación en estas pruebas nos ayuda a medir sus niveles generales de éxito este año e impacta la clasificación general de rendimiento escolar de nuestra escuela. Le pedimos que se asegure de que su estudiante esté presente y a tiempo, a menos que se trate de una emergencia. En este caso, le pedimos que se comunique con nuestro equipo de recepción lo antes posible.

También queremos reconocer el Mes de Concientización sobre el Autismo. Cada año, durante el mes de abril, personas y organizaciones de todo el mundo celebran el Mes de Concientización sobre el Autismo con eventos para educar a las comunidades locales y aumentar la conciencia pública sobre el autismo. Han pasado casi 50 años desde que la Autism Society celebró el primer Mes Nacional de Concientización sobre el Autismo en abril de 1970. Apreciamos y valoramos la singularidad de todos nuestros estudiantes de Elevate y esperamos poder continuar educándonos y aprendiendo unos de otros CADA mes.
