REMINDER KNDLA TESTING IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Dear KNDLA Families,

 

We would like to remind you that all the students will be taking the Curriculum/Instruction/Assessment (CIA) exams the week of December 11th. 

It is very important that your student attends school that week to take them. We cannot accommodate requests for early testing. If you have any questions about this you can contact Kris Cercone (kcercone@kippcolorado.org) or Leah Peters (lpeters@kippcolorado.org).  

 

Also, please pay attention to the school schedule for that week: 

• Monday, December 11th - regular school day, 3:40 pm dismissal. 

• Tuesday, December 12th - early release at 1:30 pm

• Wednesday, December 13th - early release at 1:30 pm 

• Thursday, December 14th - early release at 1:30 pm

• Friday, December 15th - early release at 1:30 pm

 

There will be NO SCHOOL from December 18th to January 1st for WINTER BREAK. Our staff will be in professional development on January 2nd and 3rd. Students will return on Thursday, January 4th, 2024.

While they are just one aspect of a student's life, performing well on CIAs prepares students for other tests and exams and will open doors to future opportunities.

• They provide a common measure and a fair and objective way to assess YOUR academic progress 

• Grades and transcripts help COLLEGES AND EMPLOYERS evaluate YOUR academic performance on a level playing field, enabling them to make informed decisions about admissions or hiring. 

• They are critical to gaining ADMISSION to desired colleges or qualifying for SCHOLARSHIPS.

• They show YOUR strengths and areas that may need improvement.

• They can indicate YOUR success in their future endeavors.
