Dear KNDLA Team & Family,

At KNDLA, student safety is our highest priority. We are committed to keeping our community updated when situations arise that disrupt the safety and learning on campus, which we take extremely seriously and address immediately.

I am writing to inform you about a physical incident involving KNDLA and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early College (MLK) students. A reported physical altercation between KNDLA and MLK students occurred on MLK’s campus, and the incident was unfortunately captured and shared on social media. Those involved are under investigation and will be subject to appropriate disciplinary measures in accordance with the DPS Discipline Matrix.

Please know that we take this matter extremely seriously. Our commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment remains unwavering.

We greatly appreciate the support you provide, reinforcing our work to ensure that our students are on the path to a choice-filled life. Your collaboration is a vital part of our shared commitment to the well-being and success of each and every student.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me at kcercone@kippcolorado.org if you have any questions.

In Partnership,

Kris
