A Note from the Principal:
Hello and Welcome to the 23-24 school year! We are so excited to be back and getting into the swing of things. The first 2 weeks of school have been packed full of joy and excitement. Students have been learning the many systems and procedures that help support a happy healthy learning community and teachers have been planning/teaching lessons to set students up for success throughout the year. We hope that everyone has a few moments to briefly read through the updates and reminders in this Newsletter, if you have any questions please reach out to our front office at (720) 452-2570.
Cercone
Daily Operations:
Arrival Time: Students should arrive at school between 8-8:15 am every day. Doors open at 8:15 and the first period starts at 8:20am.
Arrival & Dismissal: To access the drop off lane, you must enter the parking lot off 51st Ave. only. Be patient and drive slowly at all times in the parking lot. If you would like to avoid traffic in the parking lot, you can always drop off your student outside the campus grounds.
Uniforms: We have a school uniform policy that is enforced every single day. If your student arrives without a KNDLA t-shirt, polo, or sweater, we will provide one and the cost of the uniform will be charged to your student’s account.
Attendance:
The average daily attendance since the first day of school is below:
9th grade: 92.17%
10th grade: 86.34%
11th grade: 89.30%
12th grade: 88.34%
Please make sure your student comes to school everyday and if there is any absence it is properly reported to our front office. You can call any time at (720) 452-2570.
In the Classroom:
We are so excited to launch another amazing year of learning at KNDLA! Students took their first practice SAT this Tuesday, and we will use this benchmark data to drive their growth in their classes this year. If you’d like to know how your student scored on their practice test, feel free to ask teachers at Back to School Night on September 13 from 5-7pm!
Upcoming Testing Dates: Students will be taking their first round of Content Interim Assessments for each core class on October 9-12. Please remember to check your students' grades weekly! You can access them on Infinite Campus any time to see how they’re doing in their classes before these tests!

Please call the front office if your student will be out! You can also check attendance on infinite campus.
Grade Book Checks!
Check your students Gradebook in Infinite campus to ensure they are on track.
