Spring Tryouts Begin Today!

Spring Athletics Information

Tryouts begin today at 3:30 PM in the Gym for Girls and Boys Soccer and Co-Ed Volleyball. Tryouts will be Monday- Thursday this week. Schedules will be announced once the teams have been finalized. Students interested in participating must be able to commit to being at all practices and games, ON TIME. Once the student is confirmed on the team, there will be a $35 athletic fee. 

GIRLS AND BOYS SOCCER

- Open for 4th - 8th grade students

- Practices will be from 3:45 - 5:30 PM, Monday- Thursday.

- Coaches: Mr. Lytle and Ms. Trena (BOYS TEAM) Ms. Ferguson and Coach Luis (GIRLS TEAM)

-18 total spots available for the team

- Practice will be at Clear Creek Valley Park (0.5 miles North of RFMA on Lowell Blvd.)

 

CO-ED VOLLEYBALL

- Open for 6th - 8th grade students

- Practices will be from 3:45 - 5:30 PM, Monday- Thursday.

- Coaches: Mr. Z, Coach Cindy and Coach Jasmine

- 8 girls and 4 boys will make the team

- Practice will be in RFMA’s Gym

 

Reminders:

- Students must be in good standing in ALL of their classes (NO F’s)

- No more than ONE detention per week (Suspension and removal from the team will result from multiple detentions on multiple weeks)

- More than FIVE unexcused absences during the entire season will result in suspension and removal from the team

- Once you make the team students must personally own all equipment needed for their sport

 

** We will have CUTS for all 3 teams **

There are more athletes than jerseys for all three sports.
